Bio:

He was trained in the U.K. by S.C. Johnson International as a Trainer on effective cleaning material and use of allied equipment. Whilst in the U.K., he had the opportunity of training at various premises including Buckingham Palace and Heathrow Airport.

He has been actively involved in recommending cleaning products suitable for the Kenya market and developing the cleaning industry as a whole. The result is that products are now being produced locally and to international standards since 1979.

He has been a part time Trainer at Utalii College, Central Bank, Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Block Hotels and Lodges among others.

He worked for S. C. Johnson for a period of 13 years and subsequently set up Petterson Africa Limited which has been one of the main suppliers of cleaning chemicals countrywide for the last 20 years. The latter are also accredited distributors for S.C. Johnson locally.

He is a Consultant with Truvox International of the U.K. and is involved in selecting the most suitable equipment for Kenyan conditions. Truvox manufacture equipment for Clarke, Electrolux, Phoenix, G.S.M. and Hoko of Germany and are market leaders in supply of quality cleaning machines.

He is currently the Marketing Director of Murphy Chemicals, a leading agro chemical distributor of farming chemicals in the East & Central Africa region.

Bio:

He has worked at the Hotel Ambassador and Hotel City in Berne, Switzerland both exclusive 5 star establishments as the Night Manager and Night Auditor respectively.

He undertook an intense Kitchen Course at the Hotel Management School, Switzerland and worked at the Hotel Erlibacherhof in Zurich as the chef de' Parties and Chef Tournant.

He enrolled at the prestigious Hotel Management School Les Roches, Switzerland. The 3 year degree course included, inter alia, housekeeping, laundry and landscaping and highlighted aspects required for running a successful hotel and restaurant business. Paramount importance was placed on cleanliness and hygiene.

He has previously worked at the Hotel and Restaurant Tre Cucine, Zurich, which specialized in Italian cuisine where he held the position of Assistant Restaurant Manager.

He has had the opportunity of working at the Norfolk Hotel – 0ne of the Leading Hotels of the World – under its Management Trainee Program.

He sits in various boards of several investment companies such as Health & Safety Systems Ltd (HSS) , Sita Investments Ltd, Excloosive Limited, Investment Cell Limited to name but a few.

He is also a fellow of the leading international sanitary services association (ISSA) an international organization with its headquarters based in the U.S.

He is happily married to Paula and they have two sons. He is 35 years old.

Bio:

Mr. Mugo has a B.A. (Land Economics) Honours degree obtained from the University of Nairobi in 1973. He is a registered and practicing valuer and a full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya. He is also a registered Estate Agent.

He has Thirty Three (33) years experience as a valuer, property manager and estate gained through employment in both public sector and private practice. He has undertaken many valuation and project management assignments throughout East Africa.

Mr. Mugo worked as an Estate and Rating officer with the Defunct East African Railways and Harbaours Corporation for four (4) years and was based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

He has also worked as a housing Estates Officer with the National Housing Corporation in which role he was responsible for overall management of 5,000 housing units distributed throughout the country. Mr. Mugo later established and became General Manager for Town Properties Limited a subsidiary of the Kenya National Assurance Company for six (6) years before he joined Gatheru Irungu Mugo Company Limited as a director and principal valuer in 1986. Mr. Mugo is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

He has during the years in Gimco Limited been involved in the letting and management of Anniversary Towers, Kenya Reinsurance, British American Centre and Royal Ngao House among others, Barclays Plaza, Corner House.

As a Consultant with Parapet, he co-ordinates most of the large jobs undertaken by the company and advises on developments in commercial and residential properties management where cleaning plays a major role.

He co-ordinates financial planning and assesses market values for proposed contracts with third parties. He has the directors' mandate to negotiate and execute contracts on the Company's behalf.

Bio:

Ms. Gakonyo is a founder member and a Director of the Company. She holds has an MBA in Strategic Management and LLB Degree (Hons) from the University of Nairobi. She has been an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for 17 years, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Certified Public Secretary.

She is past Committee Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Branch), Kenya Institute of Management and Parklands Sports Club.

Constance has excellent management experience having been Director sitting on the Board of a few multinational and local companies. Recently she is a Consultant at the Hub office of SAB Miller Africa and Asia based in Johannesburg operating within 11 countries on the Continent.

She has participated in several community activities and has been on working committees as follows: Former Head of Delegation of Nairobi Central Business District Association with delegates from offices of the Mayor of Nairobi and the Police Commissioner of Nairobi to visit and learn from City Improvement Districts and Business against Crime initiatives in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is also past Chairperson Kianda Old Girls Association and past Vice chair PTA Rusinga School, Nairobi.

Together with the other Directors, she plans, designs and co-ordinates the overall strategic direction of the Company, approves and signs off budgets and guides implementation of best practice procedures within functions. She ensures proper utilization of human resources against organizational goals in order to enhance effectiveness and profitability of the company and has been instrumental in organizational design, change management and the introduction of an effective HIV/AIDS policy.

As an overseas Director with Parapet, she is able to impart knowledge gained from exposure from similar businesses in Africa. She also co-ordinates overseas training and development for Directors as required.

Her personal objective is to see organizations prosper through efficient and effective management of their assets and resources.

His role in organizational planning and administration experiences have made Mr. Onyango oversee on an advisory basis the functions that do include;

Along with the entire Board of Directors he contributes to setting the Company's mission vision and planning for successive fiscal years.

He overseas staff management, improvement and discipline. He is also in charge of management of the employee benefit scheme and upgrading of the Company's medical self funded and insured schemes. He monitors staff appraisals together with the Managing Director.

Together with the other Directors, he plans, designs and co-ordinates the implementation of sound staff management and development systems including upgrading of procedures to ensure proper utilization of human resources in order to enhance effectiveness and profitability of the company.

As an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 19 years experience, he has covered various areas of the law including civil litigation entailing material damage claims, land conflicts, debt collection, conveyance and commercial contracts. In addition, he has had to handle maters related to probated and administration, family law, company formation and employment and labour law. These activities have included court appearances as necessary. He ensures that all provisions of contracts with third parties are interpreted and adhered to in their performance.
